Places to Visit in New Zealand
Open spaces protected by QEII covenants in perpetuity
QEII encourages people to experience, appreciate and respect New Zealand's diverse heritage by promoting public access to land it owns and to land protected by open space covenants, wherever possible.
Most of QEII's properties have been donated by gift or bequest. QEII acknowledges the generosity of these benefactors. QEII is also grateful for the support of local councils and community groups who assist with the day-to-day management of these properties.
While many covenants are unsuitable for open public access, some landholders have made their covenants available for visitors. Please respect their property and the special values they have protected.
