Experience the organic Colunda Farm

At Waiomu on the Thames Coast, Gary and Jan Blake have a QEII covenant protecting two hectares of kauri-broadleaf forest on Colunda Farm.

Colunda Farm is an example of the many small hill farms that once existed in this narrow coastal region of steep, rugged volcanic mountains which make up the Coromandel peninsula

An eco-tourism experience at the organic Counda Farm includes:

• Demonstrations of the sustainable use of resources
• Walks around the farm
• A wide range of native flora and fauna
• A large aviary for kakariki
• Outstanding views over the Firth of Thames.

Individuals and groups of all ages and interest are catered for.

School and tour groups are welcome.
