Thames - Colunda Farm

Experience the organic Colunda Farm

At Waiomu on the Thames Coast, Gary and Jan Blake have a QEII covenant protecting two hectares of kauri-broadleaf forest on Colunda Farm.

Colunda Farm is an example of the many small hill farms that once existed in this narrow coastal region of steep, rugged volcanic mountains which make up the Coromandel peninsula

Colunda Farm kauri covenant

Above: Kauri and other native trees in the QEII covenant provide the perfect habitat for many native birds.
