A coastal forest sequence from sea level to 500m at Port Charles on the Coromandel Peninsula is protected by neighbouring covenants.

Creating a young local interest in the future of the prominent landscape of the Tatarahake Cliffs.

Limehills School students have assisted with enhancing a kowhai reserve including planting native species.

A group of volunteers is dedicated to protecting kokako that live in the Kaharoa Conservation Area near Rotorua.

With a vision of sustainable farming, Greg and Rachel Hart are protecting bush and wetlands and restoring the hills on Mangarara Station.

The local community has assisted with enhancing a wetland covenant near Opunake by planting 6,500 native plants.

Volunteers are transforming a weed covered hill at Ocean Beach back to coastal forest.

Students at Ruahine School near Dannevirke have access to a small remnant of protected bush for their projects.
